310T Mechanic
We are hiring 310T Mechanic in Gloucester for a leading largest outdoor maintenance service company in Canada, providing essential services including snow removal and ice control, tree planting, construction, landscape design, road repairs and towing to municipalities and large corporations across the country..
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and equipment
· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
· Use schematics and technical manuals to assist with repairs
· Assistances of Apprentices and opportunity to help teach and grow apprentices
· Weld and fabricate parts as needed
· Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
· Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or areas of improvement
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
· Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Experience:
· Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably in a dealership or similar setting
· Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record
· Fleet experience preferred
· Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
· Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
· Proficient in electrical diagnostics and repairs
· Experience operating a forklift is preferred
· Ability to assemble and disassemble components accurately
Schedule:
Morning: 6 am to 2 pm or 7 am to 3 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr
Gloucester, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
