Experience in provider credentialing and re-credentialing
Knowledge of MDStaff credentialing software
Ability to comply with accrediting and regulatory agencies
Proficiency in records management and database entry

Job Description:

Facilitate all aspects of provider credentialing, including initial appointment, reappointment, credential audits, and clinical privileging.
Utilize credentialing software to perform and monitor background checks, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Interpret and comply with regulations and statutes related to credentialing.
Ensure that physician licenses are renewed in a timely manner before expiration.
Conduct primary source verification for new and existing providers.
Maintain and update assigned physician files using database tools and scanned documentation.
Maintain consistency in database entry for accurate processes.
Provide credentialing back-up support for other members of the team.
Responsible for all work performed on-site.
