Job Description:
  • Facilitate all aspects of provider credentialing, including initial appointment, reappointment, credential audits, and clinical privileging.
  • Utilize credentialing software to perform and monitor background checks, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Interpret and comply with regulations and statutes related to credentialing.
  • Ensure that physician licenses are renewed in a timely manner before expiration.
  • Conduct primary source verification for new and existing providers.
  • Maintain and update assigned physician files using database tools and scanned documentation.
  • Maintain consistency in database entry for accurate processes.
  • Provide credentialing back-up support for other members of the team.
  • Responsible for all work performed on-site.
