Role Overview: The Director of Account Management will manage our Account Managers. This person will first complete a ramp period to go through Account Manager training and temporarily work as an IC, demonstrating sales abilities before taking on management of the team. Responsibilities include:
- Training Account Managers to ensure we meet and exceed company goals.
- Reviewing client interactions to identify further training opportunities.
- Ensuring the team pursues uplift opportunities from product and package expansion, migrations from acquired products to Files.com, and price increases.
- Strengthening the team in qualifying, discovering, progressing, closing, and forecasting upsell opportunities.
- Partnering with the VP of Sales to continually enhance team performance and processes.
- Strengthening relationships with our clients to win more business.

Requirements:

Requirements:
- B2B sales experience is required.
- Software sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Able to demonstrate strong sales skills as an individual contributor before managing the team.
- Ability to understand deeply technical products, often sold to IT.
- Competitive spirit and action-oriented attitude.
- Consultative sales approach: skilled in discovering needs and conveying solutions.
- Strong negotiation abilities to maximize company revenue even in challenging situations.
- Track record of carrying and achieving quotas, as well as experience managing sales teams.
