Role Overview Sodexo Live! has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Food & Beverage to join the elite team of professionals operating the Sapphire Lounge by The Club, at San Diego International Airport (SAN) . Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Join our team of experience-makers and food enthusiasts to create memorable experiences! This luxury lounge offers elite passengers a space to unwind, enjoy chef-created dishes, or order from a full-service bar serving premium wines and spirits. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services across various venues including airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention centers, zoos, and museums. Working at these locations allows you to be part of creating exceptional moments and lasting memories for guests. Incentives Paid Airport Parking What You'll Do Manage daily operations, including ordering, purchasing, and labor management Achieve financial targets and goals set by the company and client Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships Motivate, coach, mentor, and develop managers and frontline staff Ensure Sodexo standards are met, including compliance with food safety and physical safety programs What We Offer Compensation is fair and based on education level, experience, skills, and training. What You Bring 5+ years of experience as a culinary leader in high-end hotels or fine dining restaurants; airport lounge experience is a plus Broad culinary knowledge and sound financial and business acumen Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication and customer service skills Experience overseeing budgets, cost controls, and labor management Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed Working knowledge of food inventory, ordering, production management systems, and menu graphics programs Who We Are At Sodexo, our purpose is to create a better everyday for everyone and build a better life for all.
