**Position: Executive Desk Travel Consultant**

To be considered for this role, candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience arranging domestic and international travel for VIP clients.

**Position Objective:**

The Executive Desk Travel Consultant is a highly skilled and compassionate professional dedicated to understanding the unique needs of our executive-level clients. This role involves providing concierge-level travel services, ensuring that our most prestigious clients enjoy a seamless and exceptional travel experience from the moment they make their reservation until they return home.

**Job Summary:**

- Arrange complex domestic and international travel for prestigious corporate clients, including air travel, car rentals, hotels, and other ground transportation.
- Advise clients on international travel requirements and concerns (passports, visas, vaccinations, etc.).
- Ensure a thorough understanding of client travel policies, guidelines, and authorization requirements.
- Process airline upgrades and proactively manage travel disruptions.
- Purchase tickets using preferred program points and confirm all reservations for accuracy.
- Monitor travelers' flights and address any potential disruptions before they occur.
- Utilize supplier programs to accommodate travelers' preferences and request upgrades at hotels and with other suppliers.
- Provide additional value services, such as dinner reservations and tee times.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients and travel suppliers.
- Anticipate client needs based on travel patterns and preferences.
- Counsel clients on safety considerations, government travel regulations, and savings opportunities.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage time efficiently to organize workflow and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.

**Essential Functions:**

- Be available for Concierge Travelers outside of normal business hours during emergencies and weather events.
- Collaborate as a team member to ensure all customer service functions are completed.
- Research and resolve travel-related issues for clients.
- Stay informed about airline rules, regulations, and industry requirements to make accurate travel arrangements.
- Adhere to company procedures and standards in customer service, ticketing, and productivity.
- Work effectively under pressure and assist the After-Hours department during emergencies.
- Maintain proficiency in operating the global distribution system (GDS).
- Attend staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in the travel industry and company procedures.
- Ensure optimal customer service through effective communication and adherence to phone standards.
- Keep management informed of any potential issues and take corrective action as needed.
- Foster a cooperative and harmonious working environment to promote employee morale and productivity.
- Meet and maintain performance standards for Concierge Corporate Travel Consultants.
- Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and exercise good judgment in all interactions.
