About the Role:
Do you enjoy working with children but need a flexible, part-time schedule? Jovie is hiring Backup Care Sitters to provide on-call childcare for families in Orange, Rockland, and Northern Bergen County. This is a perfect role for nannies, babysitters, daycare providers, teachers, college students, and retirees looking for flexible, rewarding work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Step in when parents need last-minute care
• Provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children
• Follow family routines and maintain a structured care plan
• Keep parents and Jovie management informed with timely updates

Requirements:

• 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available at least two weekdays (Monday–Friday) between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• 1+ year of childcare experience (paid or unpaid)
• Reliable transportation to and from childcare assignments
• Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID
• Smartphone with a data plan for communication
