Job Summary:
This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to VSoft’s sales organization across various market segments:
● Community Financial Institutions
● Large Financial Institutions
● Caribbean & Latin American Financial Institutions
Focused on maximizing revenue and margin while establishing the market position of the company, this role leads sales with a comprehensive solutioning mindset. The objective is to build and train a robust sales organization, while ensuring sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organization's long-term strategic objectives. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing the team that handles existing client relationship management and supporting the Client Success team that is responsible for post-sales implementation and technical support.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
● Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
● Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
● Recruit and train their sales team
● Define, monitor, and refine sales processes
● Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
● Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
● Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
● Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
● Work closely with the strategic partners to establish successful channel programs
● Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
● Manage sales team’s activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives
● Oversee and personally contribute to major account(s) development
● Oversee lead generation activities working with the marketing team
● Trains the sales staff for sales presentations; ensures needed resources are available for effective demos.
● Provide guidance to the team over sales proposals to clients and prospects
● Provide guidance for the RFP / RFI process.
● Negotiate, structure, and close “deals” that meet customer expectations and VSoft’s ability to deliver
● Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree
● 3 years of experience in a similar role
● Experience selling to banks, credit unions, and banking services providers
● Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
