Position Overview: The HVAC Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC systems, superior customer service skills, and the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team. This individual will be focused on revenue generation, team building, and driving results while maintaining efficiency and exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Management & Execution: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service team, ensuring quality, timely, and efficient service delivery to all customers.
• Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets through upselling, service contracts, and client retention initiatives. Track performance and report on key financial metrics.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC technicians and service staff. Conduct regular training, foster a positive work culture, and ensure high morale and motivation.
• Customer Service Excellence: Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of service and retention.
• Planning & Coordination: Coordinate service schedules, ensure timely completion of projects, and handle logistics for HVAC system repairs, installations, and maintenance.
• Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Utilize strong analytical skills to assess service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions. Ensure service quality standards are met and exceeded.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce a culture of safety within the team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams and work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Revenue-driven with a track record of successfully achieving or exceeding sales and service targets.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with customers, team members, and management.
• Proficiency in service management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and efficiently.

Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or trade school training preferred.
• EPA Certification for refrigerants (Type I and II or Universal).
• Additional certifications or specialized training in HVAC systems is a plus.
