We are looking for an exceptional Assistant General Manager with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us. You will collaborate with our General Manager to plan and oversee the hotel's daily operations and assume the GM's responsibilities in their absence. This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience with our services.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service while also maintaining the hotel's budget and quality standards. You must have 2 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. Compensation:

$50,000 - $55,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed
  • Collaborate with department heads and the general manager to develop an annual budget, and assess performance throughout the year, making modifications as needed to preserve profitability
  • Facilitates management of the hotel's human resources functions, such as HR administration, turnover control, staff motivation, and employee development and retention
  • Consult with the general manager to ensure that all guest service standards are met daily
  • Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient and friendly service to all guests.
  • This role involves managing staff, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and maintaining reservation systems to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize hotel occupancy.

Qualifications:
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • You must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team, preferably in a hospitality role
  • Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • You must have 3 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field
  • You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field
