Inside Sales Engineer

About the Role:

Are you looking to start your career in sales and grow within an established company? Cornerstone Controls in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for recent graduates or those with a two-year degree looking to develop their skills in technical inside sales. You will play a key role in supporting our sales team by preparing proposals and helping drive business success.

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with our sales and engineering teams to create accurate estimates and proposals for materials and services.
• Manage multiple sales requests, ensuring timely and professional responses.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including account managers, engineers, and project managers.
• Maintain accurate records of proposals and sales data.
• Support procurement activities as needed.
• Represent Cornerstone Controls with professionalism and customer-focused service.

What You Bring:

• An associate degree (or higher) in a related field such as engineering or technology.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• A desire to learn and grow within a technical inside sales environment.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Knowledge of industrial automation or manufacturing processes.
• Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CRM or proposal management software.
