Our client is a leading manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, we are seeking a Production Planner to optimize scheduling and production flow in our state-of-the-art facility.

Position Overview:

The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing work orders, and ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments, including production, engineering, and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and internal capacity constraints
• Monitor work orders, prioritize jobs, and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize workflow
• Analyze capacity planning and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency
• Track inventory levels and work closely with procurement to ensure material availability
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production planning and scheduling
• Communicate regularly with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure alignment
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage scheduling and production data

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination
• Industry Background: Aerospace, defense, precision machining, or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot scheduling and workflow challenges effectively
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
