Organizational Development Consultant - 1 year contract - 60% travel.

MUST BE LOCAL TO WASHINGTON, DC OR ROCKVILLE, MD

This HYBRID role would require two days a week in office. Essential Job Functions: Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to design, develop, and implement a variety of organizational developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and session materials. Facilitate development activities, sessions, workshops, and interventions to drive leader and team effectiveness at all levels. This includes workshops on Clifton Strengths, EQi2.0, 360 Feedback Assessments, Leader Assimilations, Start/Stop/Continue sessions, teambuilding activities (e.g., MBTI, HBDI), Professional Coaching, and other enterprise assessments. Partner with HR Business Partners, Senior Leaders, and Change Management to support change initiatives, conducting Role Clarity sessions, SWOT & Root Cause Analyses, and Skills Gap analyses. Collaborate with department leads regarding mentoring, sponsorship, and engagement events and programs. Monitor and evaluate program impact and value to measure the achievement of organizational development initiatives. Support the talent review process by completing business tasks for assessing potential (9-box). Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology, Human Resource Management, Learning and Development, Organizational Design, or related fields required. A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in consulting and facilitating team development sessions and workshops required. Professional Coaching Certification preferred. Certifications in DiSC, MBTI, EQi, HBDI, CliftonStrengths, or related certification preferred. HR Certification in SHRM-CP/SP or SPHR/PHR or related certification(s) preferred.
