About the Role:

We are looking for a weekend part time Venue Specialist who will serve as our receptionist on Saturday and Sunday. The Venue Specialist plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our wedding venue. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The Venue Specialist is responsible for managing multiple email inboxes, directing calls, and addressing inquiries with exceptional phone etiquette. Additionally, this role involves performing general administrative duties that support the overall efficiency of the office. Ultimately, the Venue Specialist contributes to a positive client experience and helps maintain the organization’s reputation in the wedding industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and general office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Familiarity with office management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage incoming call, operate multiple email inboxes, directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Operate office equipment, including copy machines, ensuring all devices are functioning properly.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for team members.
