Summary: Paramount Education is looking for summer camp counselors to assist in running our summer camp programs: Camp Paramount and Camp Story Wranglers. These camps focus on creative drama, musical theatre, playwriting, acting, and design, and end with a performance at the Paramount Theatre located in downtown Austin. This position works closely with campers and camp teaching artists. The primary responsibility of camp counselors is to manage a group of 15 campers ranging from 1 st -10 th grade as they go about their daily camp classes and activities.
The ideal candidate is interested in theatre, education, and working with youth. Candidates who are rising college freshmen and older will be given priority. At minimum, candidates must be rising seniors in high school or 17 years old by June 2nd, 2025.
