What You'll Do

  • Independently create detailed, accurate placing rebar drawings and bar list to facilitate field placement and project scheduling
  • Verify drawings, specifications, addenda’s and information from contract documents
  • Work with job site and shop personnel to determine requirements for both detailing and delivery of material
  • Identify and develop information required to inform management team and customers of any changes to the contract
  • Communicate with ironworkers, customers and A/E on all questions relating to projects including writing of RFI's
  • Enter all orders into business system and prepare reports to assist in management of projects
  • Enter all drawings for submission into drawing tracking system
  • Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the construction or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction specifications and drawings
  • 1 - 2 years previous experience and/or knowledge with AutoCAD and reading blueprints
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effective planning/organization
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment support and/or managing several projects at a time
  • Must be self-driven with an ability to respond quickly to client requests and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum 2 years In the Rebar industry preferred
