Job Title: Maximo (MAS) Developer

Duration: 12 Months (Possiblity of extension)

Location: Plano TX 75024 (Onsite)

Pay rate: $65-70/hr on W2 terms without any Benefits/Holidays/PTO's

  • What you’ll be doing
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Maximo (MAS – Maximo Application Suite) Developer to join our team and support a project focused on Reliability Strategies in a SaaS environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite, specifically in configuring and customizing modules to drive predictive maintenance, asset performance optimization, Condition based Maintenance and reliability strategies.
  • Customize and Configure:
  • Design and configure Maximo MAS solutions to meet project requirements for reliability strategies and predictive maintenance.
  • Develop workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations that provide actionable strategies into asset performance.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with business analysts, reliability engineers, and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Using Agile practices participate in project planning, requirements gathering, and design workshops to align deliverables with business goals.
  • Optimize MAS Modules (including Reliability Strategies):
  • Implement advanced analytics and AI/ML features of Maximo MAS to identify patterns, predict failures, and optimize maintenance strategies.
  • Integrate IoT sensors and external data sources to enhance data quality and improve predictive capabilities.
  • Ensure SaaS Integration and Security:
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and IT teams to ensure seamless deployment in a SaaS environment.
  • Adhere to best practices for cloud-based solutions, including security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide technical support during implementation, testing, and post-deployment phases.
  • oTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, integrations, and customizations.
  • Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Maximo Developer, with expertise in MAS (Manage, Monitor, Health, Predict, and Assist).
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and other scripting languages relevant to Maximo customization.
  • Experienced working on Agile Scrum teams, specifically using tools like Jira and Confluence to manage activities.
  • Hands on experience using DevOps/Deployment tools for code management and deployment (Graphite Dev Ops preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration frameworks for Maximo (MIF).
  • Familiarity with Maximo’s underlying database structure (e.g., relationships, attributes, objects).
  • Experience customizing Maximo Work Centers and UI components for FMEA.
  • Familiarity with Maximo Application Designer for modifying screens, layouts, and controls.
  • Knowledge of BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) for creating custom FMEA reports.
  • Skills in configuring and extending Reliability strategies, including predictive analytics, KPI dashboards, and custom algorithms for asset failure prediction.
  • Familiarity with IoT technologies and cloud-based deployment models (e.g., AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong documentation skills to create clear guidelines and technical specifications for customized FMEA workflows and integrations.
  • Bonus if you have (Preferred):
  • Certification in IBM Maximo Application Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of Maximo’s Reliability strategies and Predict modules, including AI/ML integration capabilities.
  • Experience integrating Maximo with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other CMMS platforms to align maintenance and operational data.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification or similar experience.
  • Experience with SaaS platform governance and compliance.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Experience integrating Maximo with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other CMMS platforms to align maintenance and operational data.
  • Expertise in extending database schemas to support additional FMEA data elements.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).tement on commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
