Unit Profiles: The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit.
Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique details to assist recruiting professionals in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff.

Weekend Hours: Every other Saturday & Sunday, 24 hours total
Call Requirements: No
Years of Experience: 1-2 years minimum experience
Float Requirements: Floating in-turn (float log), same level of care floating

Job Requirements

Required Certifications: BLS, NIH
Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience, BLS required, NIH certified, Epic charting or similar EMR experience, Alaris IV pump experience
Preferred Skillset/Experience: CAPD (peritoneal dialysis) experience

Unit Specific Information

Type of Patients on Unit: Observation, inpatient (common diagnoses: chest pain, stroke, CHF, CKD, COPD, failure to thrive, alcohol withdrawal with CIWA <9, sickle cell crisis, cellulitis, sepsis
Personality Fit: Team-player, ability to work in fast-paced environment, patient satisfaction priority, schedule flexibility
Dress Code: Scrub Color: Dark navy blue, Any unacceptable attire: facial piercings (please remove/cover before shift), hoodies, artificial nails in clinical areas
